Montgomery City Public Library

Attendance: President Theo Tate, Secretary Angel Davis, Treasurer Jamie Cox, Library Director Gaylee Harris, Members Jamie Bukovac, Pat Garrett, Kellee Gentry, Cassie Hasekamp, Tiffany Singer and Anna Powell. Absent was Mark Clements.

The Montgomery City Public Library Board of Trustees meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m., November 12 by President Theo Tate. The agenda was approved. The consent agenda was presented.

Gaylee Harris presented the Library Director’s report. The Public Library Survey was completed and accepted. Gaylee gave an update on the Technology Mini Grant. Some items were only partially funded due to the age of the technology being replaced. Steven Deves confirmed we could update the kitchen area ourselves. We would need to open for bids if we want one person/company to do all the work.

There were no communications from Board Members.

Anna Powell presented the Friends of the Library report. The winter book sale will be December 12 & 13. The Friends of the Library executive board is reassessing the activities and direction they would like to go in the future.

The Renovations Committee will meet December 2, 2025 at 5:00pm.

In Unfinished Business Jamie Bukovac moved to accept the updated Technology Plan. The motion was seconded and passed.

The Library Board will donate to provide treats from Rugged Root for Friends of the Library Week during the book sale.

In New Business, Gaylee Harris spoke about the Missouri Public Library Survey.

There were no Patron Comments.

Jenny Cox moved to adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Section 610.021 (1)(2)(3) of the Revised Statutes of Missouri pertaining to legal action, personnel, or real estate at 7:51 p.m.

Jamie Bukovac moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:59 pm. The motion was seconded and passed.
