Montgomery City Public Library

Attendance: President Patti Pazdera, Vice President Theo Tate, Secretary Angel Davis, Treasurer Jim Guffie, Library Director Gaylee Harris, Members Jamie Bukovac, Mark Clements, Jenny Cox, Pat Garrett, Molly Taylor, and Anna Powell.

The Montgomery City Public Library Board of Trustees meeting was called to order at 6:59 p.m., April 09 by President Patti Pazdera. The agenda was approved. The consent agenda was approved.

Gaylee Harris presented the Library Director’s report.

There were no communications from board members.

The Officer Nomination Committee will meet April 22 at 4:45pm. The Budget Committee will meet April 28 at 1:00pm. The Budget Committee will meet with the city May 27 at 4:00pm.

Anna Powell presented the Friends of the Library report. Their book sale will be April 11 and April 12 and the annual meeting will be April 15 at 6:30 pm.

In Unfinished Business, there have been no applications submitted for new board members.

In New Business, the Officer Nomination Committee took volunteers for officers for 2025-2026. Gaylee Harris spoke on the status of IMLS Grants and its effect on the MCLP.

There were no Patron Comments.

Molly Taylor moved to adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Section 610.021 (1)(2)(3) of the Revised Statutes of Missouri pertaining to legal action, personnel, or real estate at 7:51 p.m.

Molly Taylor moved to adjourn the regular meeting at 8:39 p.m.
